SeniorAdvantage is Glenwood’s program to promote healthy living in adults age 55 and over. With a wide variety of activities to choose from, free and discounted services to enhance your health, a VIP program when you are hospitalized and an opportunity to meet new friends, members get the real advantage and enjoy these great benefits:
HealthSource – Glenwood’s Community Resource Center
For your health education, HealthSource offers access to over 500 health-related books, 200 videos, and wide variety pamphlets. The center houses a blood pressure monitor, scales and computer research station for daily use.
Health Screenings and Services
From blood pressure checks to prostate cancer screenings, Glenwood periodically provides free and discounted health services for SeniorAdvantage members.
A wide variety of health related seminars focusing on healthy aging to healthy living topics directed toward the special needs of adults age 55 and over.
The following support groups meet monthly in the HealthSource Community Room: Prostate Cancer, Hepatitis C, Multiple Sclerosis and ALS. If you are interested in a specific support group not presently offered, please let us know by calling HealthSource at 329-8590.
SeniorAdvantage members can enjoy spending time together at fun, affordable social events.
VIP (Very Important Patient Program)
When SeniorAdvantage members are hospitalized at Glenwood, they receive a visit from the Senior Advantage team, a small welcome gift, and a cafeteria coupon to pass along to a visiting friend or family member.
SeniorAdvantage members always enjoy discounted meals in the Glenwood dining room.

Glenwood financial counselors are available (by appointment) to answer member questions about hospital fees, Medicare and insurance filings. For your appointment, call HealthSource at 329-8590.
